Unifictional Instant Quote

Privacy

The Unifictional Instant Quote is made by Unifictional. This page says, in plain words, what the product keeps and why. We do not sell data or run advertising trackers, and we do not train models on your photos.

Room photos you upload
To build the 3D room and the estimate
Our storage (Vercel Blob). Read by OpenAI; Google reads them only if OpenAI cannot, or if a render is made with Google. The optional photo-to-3D-model tool sends one photo to Meshy
iPhone room scans
To measure the room
Stay on your iPhone until you open the scan in Instant Quote. Then the measured room is sent; close-up finish photos are sent only if you confirm. Sharing uploads one picture of the 3D room
Projects you share
So the link you send works
Our storage, at an unguessable address. Anyone with the link can view it
A homeowner’s name, phone and note left on a share link
So the contractor who sent the link can call back
Our storage. Readable in Instant Quote by people signed in with sharing access — today, the contractor who runs it
Your name, email, company, city and plan, if you sent us the access form we used to run
To reply to you
Our storage, shown only on the owner’s page. Name, company, city and plan may also go to the owner’s private alert chat
Your website and email when you buy
So we can install Instant Quote on your site and reach you
Sent through the Unifictional client portal to Square, where they sit on the payment. Not kept in this product’s own storage
Sign-in and device approvals
To keep the owner’s tools — the photo-to-3D-model scan, the phone’s finish pass, replies to share links and the owner pages — to signed-in users
A signed cookie in your browser and a record of approved devices
Your free-scan count and unlock
To give each connection its free photo scans, and to keep a paid unlock working after you close the tab
When the free-scan gate is on, our storage keeps a one-way hash of your network address with the count and the unlock date — never the address itself. A signed cookie in your browser remembers an unlock. Payment is taken by Square through the Unifictional client portal; we never see your card
Service logs
To see failures, refusals and spend
Our own logs keep network addresses only as a one-way hash. Our host, Vercel, keeps its standard request logs, which include IP addresses, under its own retention policy

Processors

Vercel (hosting and storage), OpenAI (reading photos, renders, the assistant), Google (backup photo reading, and renders when chosen), Meshy (the optional photo-to-3D-model tool), Square through the Unifictional client portal (the payment for Instant Quote on your website) and, when the owner sets one up, a private Slack or Discord alert channel. Each receives only what its step needs. OpenAI and Google do not train on data sent through their paid APIs by default. Meshy’s terms may let it use uploads to improve its service, so use that tool only with photos you are comfortable sharing.

Removal

Email hello@unifictional.com and we will delete your projects, share links, replies or request from our storage within 30 days. Copies a provider keeps under its own policy, such as OpenAI’s abuse-monitoring logs of up to 30 days, are outside our control. A scan you never sent to Instant Quote is only on your iPhone; deleting the space there removes it.
